Research Facilities
(512, 604B, and 608 Rhodes Hall)
The PI's laboratory has computers which
can be used for computations, statistical data analyses and word/graphics
processing. In addition, the laboratory has facilities and equipment for
catalyst synthesis. This equipment includes balances, glassware, heaters,
a grinder, a drying oven, and an ultrasonic bath. In addition, there are
a number of reflux set-ups using three neck flasks for the synthesis of
zeolites from the corresponding aluminosilicate gels and cation exchanged
materials. The laboratory is also equipped with several box-type and tubular
furnaces for the calcination of catalysts.
